FACTORY FLOOR – 25 25 (DFA Records)

When Factory Floor first exploded on the scene in 2010 with ‘A Wooden Box’, they were a breath of fresh air on the electronic scene, and I’ve sung their praises ever since. Over the years they’ve polished their sound to become a professional EDM band, but I can’t help feeling they’ve lost that edginess that made them stand out. ‘25 25’ is a good, solid dance album, but this isn’t the band that I fell in love with.
